Born to a rather well-off family, Zexion was given everything he could ever need as a child: love, material possessions and leisure. His parents were both from wealthy families and had respectable well-paying jobs, so there had never been a problem financially or socially.
Though both parents intended to raise him to the best of their capabilities, they were both frequently away on business trips, leaving young Zexion to the care of his grandmother.
Under the senile and bitter old woman’s influence, Zexion began to see people as both weak and short witted. In her eyes, she was better then everyone else and that ideology soon planted itself into Zexion’s brain and stayed there permanently.
As he grew older, Zexion’s parents had already lost their grip on their son and could not do anything to change his apathetic nature.
By the age of 18, he had already moved out and started a life of his own, his parents still willing to support him with whatever they could give. As far as their knowledge goes, Zexion makes his living as a merchant, though is actually a member of the notorious Organization XIII
